Vashon Island Lifestyle

Having lived full time on Vashon Island for over 30 years, I have an extensive knowledge of the community. My in-depth understanding of the area can help you make an educated Real Estate decision and fully explore Island living. Vashon Island is a unique place to live, but purchasing a home, land or business here can be complicated. My extensive Real Estate knowledge will benefit your purchasing or selling experience.

Real Estate Experience

My Real Estate career began in 1994 when I earned my RE license to assist my husband, who was the assistant Broker in our office at that time. In 1997 we purchased the Vashon Windermere business and were owners for 14 years. I continue to work as an independent agent under the new ownership. I have earned my GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) rating. I have been a top producing agent on Vashon since 1997, when I sold the first $1,000,000 home on the island.

Windermere Programs

Windermere is the leading Real Estate company in the Northwest and on Vashon Island. Windermere now has offices in every western state and our expansive referral network allows our agents to have quick and accurate access to information throughout the system. Windermere offers a full spectrum of services to help you successfuly purchase or list your home or property. Having these services at my fingertips helps me to better serve your needs.

Community Involvement

My husband and I moved to the island to raise our five sons in a safe, rural environment. I quickly became an active volunteer of the Vashon community, having served on numerous local boards including a founding board member for the YMCA, the Vashon Senior Services Board, the Vashon Youth & Family Services Board, Ryther Child Center Vashon Chapter, current member of the Vashon Community Care Foundation Board, Past President of the Vashon Chamber of Commerce, current President of Vashon Rotary and active in my church. As a Windermere broker, a portion of my commission helps support the community through a donation to the Windermere Foundation.
